Regular readers of my blog must have noticed something different about this post. Well, not so much the post itself but the look of the post. Of the page on the screen in front of you. I've got a lovely new logo and I'm pretty kicked about it!!! (Ok, I'll give you'll a minute or so to admire it a little more… and if you're a first-timer to my blog, well hello, and yes, you can ooh-and-aah it too).
Anyways, now that's done with, let me tell you how EASY AND QUICK it was to get it – from conception to publish all in less than 10 minutes! It didn't involve meetings with a graphic designer, there was no contemplating this, that and the other; I was just sat on my sofa, choosing fonts and colours and symbols and voila! I had a smashing new logo!
When Logojoy asked me to review their service, I couldn't be more thrilled. Because while I quite like the look of my blog, it was lacking the all-important logo. The name still stood out, as did the tag-line, but it didn't have that something extra to it… it lacked character. So I set about creating my new blog logo – online – excited, yet nervous. This was, after all, the look and face of my blog so I couldn't mess it up.
And I was done in 10 minutes! All you have to do is type out your blog/ website name in the given box and follow these 5 steps:
- Choose your inspiration
You will be presented with a number of logo designs and colour combinations – just select the ones that most appeal to you. Logojoy then uses these as 'inspiration' when generating your logo options. (It's like telling a designer what kind of look and colours you want…) - Short-list and get custom logo options
Based on your selected options, Logojoy will generate 100% custom logos, which can be short-listed further even as you scroll. The smart system keeps generating more logos based on those you’ve selected as favourites. - See your logo in real-life mockups
Click on a logo to see real-life mockups. You can keep making changes and preview them as you go along. - See variations of your chosen logo
Here is where you can add your own personal touches. Browse fonts, colours, layouts, symbols and mix-and-match according to your fancy. With over 475 premium fonts, 550k+ premium symbols and 5.5k colour presets, you are guaranteed to find exactly what you're looking for. - Get your personalised logo files
Don't be fooled that just because this is a computerised logo provider, you will not get the entire package. Once you've finalised your logo and downloaded it, you will get all the files a designer would provide from vector to JPG and PNG, including with a transparent background. What's more, these files are made to be used in print, online, and anywhere else.Logojoy promised that it would make it easy and fun to create a logo that I would be proud of – and it lived up to it's promise.Disclosure: I was provided this service in exchange for an honest and fair review, and was compensated for my time; all opinions expressed are entirely my own. If you would like your own new logo with Logojoy, I'd appreciate if you could access the site through this link https://logojoy.grsm.io/NicoleArsiwala. By doing so, I will get a small commission; the cost to you will be the same.
