The #itsok Linky – Week 10

posted in: #itsoklinky | 2

Whoop, whoop! We are in our third month of hosting this linky, and it's genuinely rocking!!! A big thank you to all of you who join us every week – we LOVE reading your posts!

For those who are popping over for the first time, this is a linky where we share not just the good stuff, but the not-so-good stuff about parenting too. In fact, we even share the downright ugly/ menacing/ traumatic parts of being Mum (or Dad), because hey, let's face it, parenting is not always smooth sailing. There are tantrums to appease and vegetables to (force)feed down our little's throats. There are painful bedtimes that are often reason enough to have a glass (or two) of wine after. And then there is Life in the middle of all of this! So… ditch the mumguilt and pat yourself on the back for doing a darn good job, even if it's not a 100 per cent perfect!

Please note…

PS: A gentle reminder that the basis of this linky is about parenting not being perfect all the time, and that's ok. Would be great if everyone could link up posts related to the theme, as that's what this linky is all about:)

And let's play fair… please don't forget to comment on the hosts' post. We put in a lot of effort every week and your comments are all the appreciation we need:)

Jill Churchill motherhood quote

Jenny's Featured Blogger from last week is Mummykind for this lovely post 'Learn to love yourself'

We are often very quick to criticise ourselves, particularly in regards to our own appearance  but we certainly owe ourselves more than this; plus, when little ears are listening it's so important to use kinder words for ourselves. This is a great post highlighting just why we should learn to love ourselves.

Congratulations! You are welcome to feature our funky Featured Blogger badge on your featured post/ homepage with pride.
