Banana Oat Pancakes
Which kid doesn’t enjoy pancakes for breakfast? Or for an evening snack after a long day at school? But you wouldn’t want your child to have the commercial, store-bought ones on a daily basis as they comprise a lot of sugar and processed flour.
Why not make your own pancakes – WITHOUT SUGAR, WITHOUT PROCESSED FLOUR and WITH THE ADDED BENEFITS OF BANANAS! Try this simple, quick and super-healthy (not to mention delicious) recipe for banana-oat pancakes. What’s more, it’s a breakfast fit for mums too!
What you need:
– 2 cups powdered oats (alternatively, you can blitz the regular instant oats)
– 2 ripe bananas
– 1 cup milk
– 2 eggs
– 1 tsp cinnamon powder
What to do:
Mix all the above ingredients in a blender to form a smooth batter. Spread on a non-stick pan (with a wee bit of olive oil or butter) and voila, delicious pancakes to start your day!
