Welcome back #itsok-ers. Hope you'll are enjoying the warmer weather – I sure am! Let's hope the sun shines all through summer (after the terrible winter we had, we deserve it #BeastfromtheEast).
Onto the linky…
Most of you'll are regulars now (and we love you'll) but for those who are joining in for the first time and don't know what this linky is all about, well, this post should make it clear. In a gist, it's all about realising that parenting is not perfect all the time, and that #itsok. The kids will survive, and won't love us any less!
FEATURED BLOGGER – WEEK 10
My Featured Blogger from last week was Claire from Life, Love and Dirty Dishes for her brilliant post What's Natural about Parenting? Very few mothers are honest enough to admit that the first few days (or even weeks) after giving birth aren't all cuddles and snuggles with their newborn. In fact, it's more about getting over the pain of childbirth, figuring out breastfeeding, excruciating sleepless nights and a lot of blood. And sometimes, parenting and breastfeeding and so many other 'motherly' things don't come naturally, and that's ok. It doesn't mean we love our babies any less, it's just a 'natural' feeling… If you haven't read this one, please do!
I also totally loved this post from Kate on Thin Ice – Home Education Guilt: A Mum's Tale. It takes a lot of guts and patience to homeschool, and Kate opens up about the trials, tribulations, fears and anxieties she faces on her continuing home-schooling journey. A definite read!
Claire and Kate, you'll can proudly display our 'Featured Blogger' badge on your sites!
