Christmas Gift Guide for Her: 2022

Christmas gift guide poster

Yes, it’s THAT time of the year again. All the Christmas feels: the mince pies and the cheese, the Christmas markets and lights, Santa and the Elf on the Shelf, and of course, the Christmas prezzies. Possibly the most stressful aspect of the season.

Which is why I’ve put together a cheerful little gift guide for the woman in your life, to make Christmas gifting a little easier this year. And easier on the pocket too, as it’s not the most cheerful economic time of the year! Introducing some new, independent businesses and showcasing some old favourites – there’s a mixed bunch of gift ideas for you. Merry Christmas!!!

All things bright and beautiful…

Witches Lab

If it’s beauty products you’re after, then this brand I recently discovered is one I would highly recommend… I am in love with all the products I’ve used so far.

The Dirty Scrub Coffee Scrub is great for reducing cellulite and fatty deposits due to its caffeine content, improving blood flow while also leaving the skin soft and smooth after use. Bonus: it smells absolutely delicious too!

The triple whipped Lime Basil and Orange Body Butter from the Spa Experience range smells AMAZING, is light and airy yet rich, and full of the goodness of shea, vitamin E, coconut oil, argan oil and essential oils.

But my favourite so far is the Youth Maintenance PM Serum – I felt a difference in the texture, elasticity and brightness of my skin within the first week of application. This intensive moisturiser also contains Chinese Wu Zhu extract and Rosemary and has become my go-to night-time skincare product.

Look good and feel good with the powerful, transformative impact of natural ingredients that can be found in all of KNature Care‘s products. Their 100% organic and vegan range showcases the superpowers that lie within plants and flowers. The synergy of these active ingredients and Argan oil forms the basis of their products.

I tried the Hair Bloom Scalp Oil which is perfect for dull hair or those who suffer from hair loss. Who wouldn’t want noticeable healthier, thicker and shinier hair, a more balanced scalp, less hair fall and greys?! Give the gift of beautiful hair this Christmas…

This little bottle of Pure Moroccan Organic Argan Oil is a miracle-in-a-bottle, what with its myriad beneficial properties, and will make an ideal addition to a beauty hamper or stocking. Or as part of a KNature Care gift set. Cleanse your face, brighten up dull hair, soothe dry skin… feel and look your best this Christmas with this first-grade organic Argan oil.

Comprising Golden Argan oil and wholesome Rosehip Seed oil, it is packed with vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants to rejuvenate the skin.

Brownies – yes please!!!

Colehill Kitchen

What is Christmas without some goodies? If you’re looking to gift some treats (or even get some for yourself), I highly recommend Colehill Kitchen. Becca bakes some delicious brownies, cookies and bespoke cakes and cupcakes, and having tried the Biscoff Brownies (pic below), I can vouch for their taste and quality.

Other brownie flavours include Oreo, Ferrero Rocher, Raspberry and White Chocolate, Rocky Road and Salted Caramel.

Gift hampers

Something for the home

Lifetime Brands

I love some new diningware every once in a while, and I know most women do… so why not gift new crockery for Christmas?! Lifetime Brands has an amazing range of cookware, bakeware, diningware, drinkware and gadgets to spruce up your kitchen and dining table.

This set of 4 lead-free KitchenCraft glazed stoneware pasta bowls will make those pasta nights extra-special. I love the embossed pattern and the two-tone colours – it definitely adds oomph to your dining table.

These Mikasa Gourmet square dinner plates are also great for adding an extra edge to your daily mealtimes. Round dinner plates can get a bit boring, but these ceramic square plates look great and make for a lovely gift too.

Arran – Sense of Scotland

Arran have a lovely range of scents in bath, body and home fragrances. Their Christmas-scented candles – Mandarin and Petitgrain, Hot Toddy and Coorie – instantly bring on a feeling of festivity, and are the perfect accompaniment to those cosy winter evenings. A Christmassy gift, indeed!

Plants by Post

Christmas plant gifts are another lovely idea for Christmas gifting this year. You can never go wrong with indoor plants, and Plants by Post have a fabulous selection of Christmas plants and hanging baskets. From the traditional red Poinsettias to the more unique yellow Marble Poinsettias to X’Mas planters and reindeer troughs, Plants by Post will deliver to recipient by post, so you can send a plant gift to anyone, anywhere, while sitting on your couch!

Advent calendar with a difference

Adagio Tea Advent Calendar

Give the gift on unending tea with the Adagio Tea Advent Calendar. This festive calendar contains 24 doors with delicious tea behind each… making the days leading to Christmas tea-lightful!!! The perfect gift for a tea-lover this Christmas!

Feel-good Christmas gifting

Miracle’s Mission

This feel-good Christmas present buys Christmas dinner or a toy for a needy foster dog. Animal welfare charity Miracle’s Mission is offering a wonderful opportunity to sprinkle some Christmas good cheer for rescue dogs and cats that are waiting to be fostered: to buy them a special Christmas dinner or toy. It’s a thoughtful and perfect present for an animal lover (who will receive a certificate as their gift), and truly brings the spirit of Christmas alive.

Christmas Dinner/ toy for a dog or cat costs £5; you can purchase your gift from www.miraclesmission.org, where you can also find out about fostering or adopting an injured or disabled animal.

Stocking fillers – books!!!

Books always make for ideal stocking fillers. These two are my picks for this season.

Parenting blogger Siobhan Butel has published her first book named after her super successful blog This Mum Malarkey. As the name suggests, it’s a first-time mum’s hilarious guide to raising under-fives… sprinkled with a dollop of profanity, a generous dose of ‘relatable moments’ and above all, parenting truths that will make you laugh and cry as you nod along having been there and done that (or perhaps, are there and doing that as you read). Available on Amazon, this is a perfect gift for a new mum, experienced mum or mum-to-be this Christmas!

For those who like a bit of whodunnit thrills over the holidays, Countdown to a Killing by Tom Vaughan Macaulay won’t disappoint. It’s a modern, multi-layered, murder mystery… great to add some more excitement to Christmas.

Disclosure: I was gifted some of the items in the gift guide to review; however, all opinions are my own.
