Hello all my gorgeous linkers, and welcome back to the #itsok linky. Hope everyone had a lovely May Bank Holiday weekend. It was quite an exciting one for me as I attended my first-ever blogging conference – BlogOnX in Manchester – and I have so much to share but I'll keep that for another post later this week.
Back to the linky…
Firstly, a huge thank you to those who have been linking up every week. We love reading your posts and thank you for supporting us – together, we can make this the most rocking parenting linky on the blogosphere!
For those who are joining us for the first time, hello (virtual wave), and welcome to the party. This is a no-holds-barred linky where you can share your deepest, darkest secrets about parenting (yes even the time you forgot your child at the supermarket) and you can do it guilt-free, because that's what #itsok is all about. We're here to support one another in our parenting journeys so a big virtual hug (or wine or cake, whatever makes you feel better) if you've been the shouty mum all week, or were too tired to cook your kids a healthy meal last night, or wished the bank holiday weekend would just get done with so the kids are back at school!
If you want to know more about this linky, have a read of this post.
In this fab post Kayleigh explores just why being a working parent involves such a momentous amount of plate-spinning and juggling just to stay relatively on top of things! This really resonated with me. Some days you just can't win! But Kayleigh sums up beautifully just why it's ok to not be completely ahead of the game all of the time.
Congratulations Kayleigh, you can proudly display our 'Featured Blogger' badge on your site.
