Christmas Gift Guide 2021 for the mum who has (almost) everything… (Special discounts inside)
Yes, it’s THAT awesome time of the year again!!! Even though one of the most busiest times for mothers, Christmas is Christmas – everything lit up and beautiful, Christmas trees everywhere, carols, hot chocolate, your child’s Nativity play and of course presents.
While we mums have to think of, shop for and wrap presents for all the family, friends and even our kids’ teachers, we shouldn’t forget some Christmas goodies for ourselves! So take a pick from the range of Christmas present ideas from here (or slip this post into your husband’s inbox) – here’s the 2021 Christmas Gift Guide for the Mum who has (almost) everything!
Gift an experience…
Tangible gifts are great, but last for a limited period whereas gifting an experience creates memories that last a lifetime. With Buy A Gift vouchers, you can choose from hundreds of amazing experiences ranging from spa breaks to meals out to adventure sports and more. This Luxury Spa Day with a 55 Minute Treatment and Cream Tea for Two will make a lovely gift for mum and her sister/ friend to relax after the cheerful chaos of Christmas is over!

A mum can never have too many leggings…
Yes, you read that right. Most mums live on leggings – especially through the cold winter months – and no matter how many pairs she has, she will always appreciate one more. I’ve been wearing Love Leggings since a couple years now, and love their superior quality, ultimate comfort and exceptional fit – believe me, mum would love them too! Their marl lounge leggings range is lovely, and this vanilla colour is perfect to pair with a Christmas jumper. Alternatively, you can’t go wrong with this pair of black ankle grazer jeggings – great for casual daytime wear and can also be oomphed up with heels for an evening out. Multi-functional and smart, just what mums like in their wardrobe!

… Or too many candles!
I don’t know what it is with mums and candles, but we seem to love them. Maybe it’s the feeling of calm or the gorgeous smells they emit, which soothes stressed-out mums’ overworked brains, but a mum cannot have enough candles around her. And these amazing ones will make much a much-appreciated gift for some TLC and self-care.
Yuugen Cedar Embers Dual Wick Candle
Most of Yuugen‘s core range is fragrances inspired by travelling but they also have a special Christmas range featuring all the lovely scents associated with the season. I light up their Cedar Embers Dual Wick Candle every evening, and the house feels so Christmassy already with smoky base notes of massoia wood, frankincense and musk topped with notes of red cedar, eucalyptus and warm spices.
Their candles are all handmade and hand-poured, made with their own blend of Coconut and Rapeseed wax with no dyes or additives. The packaging is lovely too and makes a striking gift in an amber glass vessel with a black lid.
Yuugen also has some lovely wax melt fragrances – perfect to add to mum’s Christmas stocking!

Village wax melts
Another brand of candles and wax melts I have totally fallen in love with is Village Wax Melts. What I especially like about their candles is the wooden wick which adds a lovely crackling sound, reminiscent of a real fire. Perfect ambience for those cosy hot-chocolate nights. My favourite is their Peony and Blush Suede Wood Wick Candle but there’s an extensive range of candles, wax melt fragrances, reed diffusers and room perfume sprays to choose from. There’s even a range of ready-made Christmas gift sets to make it easier for you to shop.
And if you want to pamper mum some more, throw in some gorgeous smelling bath bombs and exfoliating soap sponges in her stocking!

For the spiritual mum…
Crystal-infused candles
This candle by The Psychic Tree is for the mum with a more spiritual side. This soy wax, vegan-friendly, crystal-infused scented candle – aptly titled Love – comes infused with Rose Quartz crystals and is scented with the rich and gorgeous smell of Indian Rose and Musk fragrance oils.

However, if you want a more Christmassy scent, then I recommend the Christmas Spice crystal-infused scented candle which will fill up the house with mulled wine scents, while the Smokey Quartz and Red Jasper crystals will promote calm, togetherness and compassion.
Channeled bracelets
These absolutely stunning and custom-made channeled bracelets by Becky from Cuddle Fairy will make a fabulous personalised gift for mum. Becky uses top quality Grade A natural gemstones and makes these bracelets with the loving assistance of the Angels, who intuitively guide her to place each bead and create the pattern, making it a truly unique and one-of-a-kind piece.
All the crystals and beads in the bracelets are infused with high-frequency Angelic energy that helps and supports growth at all levels. In essence, her jewellery combines the unique properties of gemstones with the energy of the Angels, each piece personalised and thus different.

Rose quartz stud earrings
These gorgeous Rose Quartz stud earrings make a sweet and beautiful gift, perfect for those who want to wear this love-fuelled gemstone everyday. Delicate enough to be worn daily, this is a gift that mum will treasure and use often. Rose Quartz opens the heart and promotes self-love, love for others, feelings of peace and restores trust and harmony in relationships.

Gem-infused water bottles
Introducing a water bottle that has some soul to it. Bewater bottles incorporate ethically sourced gemstones, each chosen to transfer a specific energy ‘blueprint’ when the bottle is filled with water. Drawing on an ancient practice that stretches back thousands of years, it is believed that placing gemstones in water is believed to change the structure and taste of the water, while transmitting it’s properties into the water and also improving its oxygen and pH levels.
Bewater offer a choice of glass and plastic bottles (made from durable, BPA-free Tritan plastic) and are also available on Amazon. These reusable bottles are not just full of soul, but look amazing too! Great for mums on the run or sporty-mums to carry around!

Beauty products
Another item a mum would never dislike. Lotions and creams are ever so popular (and very much needed) by us mums to keep the stress-lines our little munchkins give us, at bay, and to keep our over-worked hands smooth and great-looking!
Arran Sense of Scotland hand cream set
The Arran Sense of Scotland hand cream gift set contains three travel-size tubes of hydrating hand cream in gorgeous smelling fragrances – Glen Rosa (Fig and Ylang Ylang), After The Rain (Lime, Rose and Sandalwood) and Glenashdale (Grapefruit and Green Leaf). Lightweight yet deeply moisturising, give mum the gift of nourished, hydrated and fragrant hands this Christmas.

RoC Skincare
I recently discovered RoC skincare and I am in love with their products! The two I tried (and highly recommend as gifts for mum this Christmas) are the RoC Multi Correxion Revive & Glow Gel Cream which I use during the day; and the RoC Retinol Correxion Wrinkle Correct Night Cream which I use for the night. My skin feels amazing and mum would be very, very thankful!

Vegan body lotion
The Mood Body vegan body lotion from Moo Hair is nicknamed their ‘miracle’ body lotion – for a reason! This nourishing body lotion revitalises and softens the skin, with its special blend of Marula oil and Icelandic Moss. Packed with antioxidants and nutrients including Vitamins E & C as well as essential fatty acids, it also has a delicate fragrance. Cruelty-free and vegan, this luxurious body lotion is the perfect gift for mum this Christmas.

For the Panetonne-loving mum
It’s not Christmas without all the goodies. And a delicious panetonne tops the list! For the foodie mum, there’s a vast range of scrumptious panetonnes (as well as other Christmas delicacies) available to order on Sous Chef – I tried this Muzzi Black Cherry and Chocolate Chip Panettone and it was heavenly! Highly recommend – mum won’t be disappointed!

For the New Mum…
This Mum and Baby Giftset by Aveeno comprises an Aveeno baby hair and body wash, Aveeno baby moisturising lotion and a daily moisturising lotion for mum too, along with a little soft toy – the perfect gift for a new mum or mum-to-be this Christmas!

Stocking Fillers
Ralph’s Orchard wax melts
Ralph’s Orchard have some lovely botanical wax melt tablets which will make a delightful and fragrant stocking filler. They also have an awesome bath salt collection, and some amazing smelling (and looking) candles as well (perfect for a stocking filler or as a standalone gift).

Hand-embroidered accessories and home decor gifts
Here’s a gift that will keep on giving. These beautiful embroidered home decor gifts and accessories from Stitch Saint Luce are all hand-crafted by rural artisan women in Madagascar. Supported by a local NGO SEED Madagascar, these beautiful creations made from recycled cotton incorporate traditional craft skills and inspiration from the island, making each piece unique.
Patterned bracelets, purses, make-up bags, glass cases, cushion covers – there’s a range of colourful gifts to choose from (some even under £10!) And, you’ll be helping these women earn a livelihood too!

A just-published book on Parenting!
Confessions of a Crummy Mummy – The Baby Years by former journalist, blogger and mum-of-four Natalie Brown is the latest parenting book to hit the market – and it’s one worth reading too! Natalie reveals ALL the truths about the first year, her personal experience of having a lockdown baby whilst homeschooling her other children and shares the good, bad and ugly truth about the baby years in a delightfully relatable and humourous way. A book any mum would laugh and nod their head along with…

And a just-published crime thriller!!!
Now here’s a Christmas gift/ stocking filler with a twist… rather, a plot twist! Meeti Shroff-Shah’s A Mumbai Murder Mystery is, as the cover states, “a completely unputdownable must-read crime mystery” based in the fictitious posh Temple Hill area in the city of Mumbai.
Readers love a Mumbai murder mystery, and this one hits all the right spots. From the characters to the plot twists, the setting and the absorbing story, this is a gift that will keep mum on her toes this Christmas! You can pre-order your copy here.
This amazing lash serum!
Beauty products are always a “yeah” for mums when it comes to stocking fillers, and this lash serum will come out a winner! This lash serum from Borboleta Beauty takes your lashes from lackluster to lush in as little as 4 weeks, so if you want your lashes to look longer and thicker, then this serum is perfect (and makes the perfect gift too). Cruelty free and made from plant-based ingredients, your lashes will love you when you add it to your nightly routine.

The SoleCup comes in two sizes – 340 ml and 530 ml – and a range of pretty colours; while there’s also a loose tea cup option.

Contigo Matterhorn water bottle
Contigo’s Matterhorn bottle is the perfect gift for those always on-the-go. It has a special Thermalock vacuum-insulated stainless steel construction that keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours or hot for up to 10 hours. The tethered lid is leak-proof and the spout twists off to allow for easy cleaning and adding ice cubes. And the icing on the cake – the bottles look amazing, adorned with marble patterns and metallic accents. A useful and great looking stocking filler.

Disclosure: I was gifted some of the items in the gift guide to review; however, all opinions are my own.
