5 London-based businesses you might not have heard of…

It’s no surprise that as England’s capital city, London is home to a vast number of UK businesses that meet a whole range of our everyday needs. We see adverts for these big-name businesses all the time, and are more than familiar with the likes of BT Group, EDF Energy, NatWest and Sainsbury’s.

However, London is also home to numerous brands that you might not be familiar with. But just because you haven’t heard of them yet, doesn’t mean you won’t find them useful. So here are five London-based businesses you might not have engaged with yet… but that you might find helpful.

1. Bentley & Skinner

Bentley & Skinner are a luxury jeweller who specialise in buying and selling of fine and antique jewellery, as well as art by Fabergé (of the exclusive jewelled egg fame). The company have been supplying the Royal Family with jewellery since the reign of Queen Victoria and are currently silversmiths by appointment to both the Queen and the Prince of Wales.

With many businesses choosing to move to a permanent remote working model, the need for temporary office spaces has created a new demand. And this gap in the market has been filled by companies such as eOffice, who specialise in workspaces for start-ups, entrepreneurs and freelancers.
