5 Natural Wonders to see at least once in a lifetime
The world is full of incredible landscapes and sites, and it is and can be life-changing to get to see and experience some of the world’s natural wonders in person. Whether you are planning upcoming vacations or maintaining a bucket list, incorporating some of these is a must! And if you are visiting nearby or want to dedicate an experience to seeing nature in its element, these natural wonders are worth the effort to see!
Here are 5 natural wonders in the world to see at least once in lifetime:
1. Angel Falls, Venezuela
Angel Falls is where to go if you are a lover of waterfalls. This is the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall and known worldwide as being one of the most beautiful. Also known as Salto Ángel, Angel Falls reaches 3,212 feet and starts at the cliff of the Auyán-Tepuí where multiple streams of water feed in the waterfall. Here you can also see a number of incredible animals in their natural habitat, from monkeys and frogs to armadillos, sloths and even jaguars.
2. Blue Lagoon, Iceland
If you have seen travel photos from Iceland, chances are that you have seen photos of Blue Lagoon. Located right between the main Keflavik Airport and the city of Reykjavik is this geothermal spa: it is called Blue Lagoon because of the colour of the water. Here you can have the ultimate hot spring experience and, thanks to the silica, algae and minerals contained in its water, bathing in the Blue Lagoon also has health benefits for the immune system and for treating skin issues.
3. Horseshoe Bend, Arizona, USA
Located near the Colorado River, Horseshoe Bend is a site to see. It is the site of a 270-degree bend in the Colorado River, formed about 5 million years ago where the water ran into rock and came to run around it.
4. Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
The Cliffs of Moher in Ireland are a popular destination for visitors. Located along the southwestern edge of the coast in County Clare, the stunning cliffs run about 14 kilometers and draw your eye all along the incredible green landscapes and blue waters. Whether you’re here on a sunny day or a foggy one, this is a view that you will always remember. You can explore different levels at different viewpoints and follow a trail along the cliffs to get views from different angles as well.

Luckily, many tours take you here so you can visit the Cliffs of Moher as well as other desired spots around the area.
5. The Dead Sea, Israel
Visiting the Dead Sea in Israel is an experience unlike any other. With such a low elevation – the lowest body of water on Earth in fact – as well as being incredible salty, the Dead Sea is unlike any other body of water you’ll visit. There’s no fish or seaweed due to the environment, and visitors are drawn here for powerful healing properties (for joint pain, skin ailments etc.) and to experience the natural buoyancy that you get due to the high salt levels.
